The Devil's Rejects was an amazing piece of film making. Amazed how far he came since the piece of crap "House of 1000 Corpses". Though if you listen to the commentary, it's so far off. Everyone in the theater where I saw it was pissed when the "Good guy" was killed, not pleased. I mean yelling at the screen pissed.
A remake of Halloween was pointless. The whole thing was Michael Myers could be anyone who was just evil. Making him an abused child, just makes him a run of the mill case. Which misses the entire point of Halloween.
